Editor’s Note: The video above shows KXAN Live’s top headlines for Oct. 4, 2023.AUSTIN (KXAN) — Three people were injured after scaffolding collapsed in a neighborhood near Rollingwood Wednesday morning, Austin-Travis County EMS said on social media.ATCEMS said the collapse happened on Honey Tree Lane, which is near Walsh Tarlton Lane and Bee Caves Road.The three adults injured in the collapse were considered "trauma alerts" and were taken to local hospitals with potentially serious injuries, ATCEMS said.This is a developing story. AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin City Limits music festival begins Friday, but last-minute adjustments are being made to the lineup.Kali Uchis, a R&B/soul singer-songwriter, said she would no longer be performing at ACL. (WFLA) — The National Hurricane Center continues to track Tropical Storm Philippe as it brings heavy rain and flash flooding to parts of the Caribbean.The NHC said Philippe remains disorganized as it slowly moves northwestward.The storm is currently dumping heavy rain across portions of the British and U.S. Virgin Islands. Its maximum sustained winds are near 45 mph. What’s causing that smoke over the Tampa Bay area? Sean Payton and the Broncos delivered a Week 5 surprise Wednesday by releasing veteran pass rusher Randy Gregory, multiple sources confirmed to The Post.Gregory inked a five-year deal worth up to $70 million in the spring of 2022 but played in just 10 games for the franchise. He had about $28 million guaranteed on his deal.The former second-round draft pick from Dallas missed 10 weeks with a knee injury last year and had struggled to generate production early on in 2023. On Sunday against Chicago, second-year man Nik Bonitto took his starting spot.Gregory had a guaranteed $14 million base salary for 2023 and a cap hit of $16.1 million. According to OverTheCap data, the Broncos have $6.3 million in prorated bonus charges left to account for on Gregory’s deal. The prorated portion of his base salary for the rest of this season is $10.71 million.
