DENVER (KDVR) — A shelter-in-place has been issued for the Glenwood Grove - North Iris neighborhood in Boulder as police work to take a possibly armed suspect into custody.According to the Boulder Police Department, officers are in the area of 30th and Iris working to contact a suspect. The area is in north Boulder, south of the Pleasant View Fields Sports Complex. The suspect allegedly stole a car and then climbed on top of a business. The man claimed he had a gun.BPD said officers are working to get the man down without anyone getting hurt.This is a developing situation and will be updated as more information becomes available.

No suspects identified after teen shot inside carDENVER (KDVR) — Aurora Police are investigating a shooting that sent a 13-year-old boy to the hospital after he was shot while inside a car.At around 1 a.m. Tuesday, Aurora Police said the boy was shot while in the area of 13th Avenue and Potomac Street at the corner of Freedom Park.Two other people were also inside the car but were unharmed. 2 teens arrested for riot at Lookout Mountain Youth Detention Center The teen was taken to a local hospital and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Police said they do not know what led up to the shooting and are working to develop suspect information.Anyone who has information or who may have seen something is asked to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can remain anonymous and still be eligible for a cash reward.

Crews return to scene of house fire in Fort Lauderdale to put out hotspots

Firefighters returned Tuesday morning to the scene of a Fort Lauderdale home that went up in flames to put out remaining hotspots. The incident happened just before 7 p.m., Monday.Crews responded to Southwest 22nd Street and 33rd Terrace as they fought intense flames that came from the roof.The fire was put out in about 20 minutes.7Skyforce flew over the area where a huge hole was seen burned inside the home’s roof.
