CHICAGO — Members of the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) brought their voices back to Grant Park as they remain on strike.SAG-AFTRA Chicago Local hosted a rally to try and pressure the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers to negotiate a contract they deem fair. Their demands are related to wages, revenue sharing, and protection of images and performances in order to prevent the replacement of humans by artificial intelligence. MOORESVILLE, N.C. (WJZY) – An explosion overnight leveled a multimillion-dollar home in North Carolina owned by NFL cornerback Caleb Farley, leaving his father dead and another person injured, authorities said.Authorities confirmed with Nexstar's WJZY that the person who was killed has been identified as Robert Matthews Farley, 61, who was staying in the home at the time of the incident. The injured person, a male who was seen leaving the property as the first emergency crews arrived at the scene, was transported to Atrium Health CMC with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Kent Greene, director of Fire Services and Emergency Management for Iredell. His identity has not yet been released.Robert Farley’s body was recovered as crews were searching the debris, authorities said.The 6,391-square-foot house, located in Mooresville just off Lake Norman, was mostly reduced to rubble as of Tuesday morning. ST. CHARLES, Mo. -- A Florissant man is facing charges after a child was killed in a drunk driving crash. Dioavian Cook is charged with driving while intoxicated and in the death of the 7-year-old. Police say that Cook is not in custody, but his bond is set at $100,000.Police say that Cook was driving the wrong way on I-70 at 100 mph on August 12, just east of David Hoekel Parkway. That is when he struck another vehicle, which resulted in the death of the child. The 24-year-old driver of that vehicle was also injured.Cook's blood alcohol content was tested two hours after the crash. At that time it was .20%.
