Cardiologist now faces 16 felony counts for alleged sexual assaults of ten women A Denver cardiologist who was charged with sexual assault after an alleged date rape now faces 16 felony counts involving ten women, prosecutors said.Stephen Matthews, 35, was arrested March 22 for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting a woman, according to the Denver District Attorney’s Office. Matthews was charged with three felonies in that case.On April 18, Denver police investigators announced that they had information indicating that Matthews was allegedly involved in multiple incidents and police asked that anyone who believed they were victimized to come forward. Driver killed after Metrolink train strikes car in Sun Valley One person was killed when a Metrolink train crashed into a vehicle in Sun Valley on Tuesday afternoon.The collision happened on the 12900 block of Raymer Avenue near Coldwater Canyon around 3:20 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.When authorities arrived, they found one person trapped inside the vehicle, officials said. Sky5 footage showed multiple fire crews responding to the scene where the mangled car came to rest between two railroad tracks.One person was killed after a Metrolink train crashed into a vehicle in Sun Valley on May 16, 2023.
