SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- A man facing felony assault and battery charges against a former San Francisco fire commissioner has been found not guilty on all counts, the San Francisco District Attorney's Office confirmed Friday. The altercation happened on April 5 in San Francisco's Marina District. Pacifica domestic stabbing victim identified Garret Doty, 25, was seen on video swinging a metal rod at the former commissioner, Don Carmignani. Additional surveillance footage later allegedly showed Carmignani attack Doty with bear spray before Doty fought back with the pipe. “From the beginning, it was clear to me that Mr. Doty was acting in self defense against Mr. Carmignani, who not only had the audacity to attack Mr. Doty with bear spray and then threatened to stab and kill Mr. Doty, but also presented himself as unwilling to back down from a fight that he had started,” said Deputy Public Defender Kleigh Hathaway. “Self-defense can be fierce because the brain goes into survival mode...Pacifica domestic stabbing victim identified

(KRON) -- The man who was fatally stabbed in Pacifica on Thursday was identified as Ezra Raymond Pouech, 30, by the San Mateo County Coroner's Office on Friday.Pouech, an Oakland resident, was one of two people stabbed by Jason Gillenwater on Thursday at about 7:45 a.m., according to police. The other victim was hospitalized. Robbers are following shoppers home, Alameda police say Gillenwater, 46, was found dead in his car in Ukiah from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Thursday afternoon.The stabbing happened on the 200 block of Naomi Avenue. Nearby Vallemar Elementary School was placed on lockdown while Gillenwater was at large. (KRON) -- San Jose police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing at-risk person. Dara Olumi, 20, was last seen on Thursday at 5 p.m. walking on Avalon Drive in San Jose, the San Jose Police Department said on X. 3 hospitalized, including toddler, after fatal crash on Highway 152 near Gilroy Olumi is described to be 5-foot-8 tall and weighs 135 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes with stubble/unshaven facial hair, along with two bald spots on the back of head. He was last seen wearing green cotton shorts, a light-colored t-shirt and a light-brown blanket on his shoulders, according to SJPD. (KRON) -- A San Jose man who was already in custody in Santa Clara County Jail has been charged with homicide in connection to a woman who was killed earlier this month, the San Jose Police Department said. On Dec. 2 at approximately 5:16 p.m., officers responded to a residence on the 900 block of Thelma Way on a report of a possible deceased person. Robbers are following shoppers home, Alameda police say Arriving at the scene, officers found a woman with obvious signs of trauma. She was pronounced dead, police said.SJPD homicide detectives responded to the scene and began an investigation. Through the course of the investigation, detectives identified Ray Garcia, 28, of San Jose as the suspect.Garcia, who was already in custody, was charged on Dec. 22. Wall Street capped its eighth straight winning week with a quiet finish Friday following reports showing inflation on the way down and the economy potentially on the way up. DENVER (KDVR) -- The Denver International Airport has a new way to prevent auto thefts this month, just in time for a busy holiday travel season.Auto theft has been increasing significantly year after year in Denver. According to a release from Meridian Rapid Defense Group, over 940 vehicles have been stolen at DIA so far this year.
