The action was taken a day after the White House said it had new intelligence that shows Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un have swapped letters as Russia looks to North Korea to supply more munitions for the war in Ukraine.Treasury sanctioned Russia-based Jon Jin Yong and Sergei Kozlov, who it said worked together to coordinate the use of North Korean construction workers in Russia. More than $30K in fines issued to Denver rental property owners DENVER (KDVR) -- In the eight months since Denver's rental property licensing law went into effect, the city has issued more than $30,000 in fines.In total, 167 fines have been issued: 154 of them have been $150 fines for first violations, 12 have been $500 fines for second violations, and only one fine of $999 has been for a third violation. From July: Denver rents rising faster than in other cities According to the Denver Department of Excise and Licenses, the building that reached the highest level of fine is located at 3401 N. Williams St.The first phase of the program, which went into effect this past January, requires landlords who own multiple rental units at the same address to apply for a license and undergo an inspection of the property. Police investigating death of toddler after accident at auto repair shop in Cohasset Authorities are investigating what led up to the death of a child in Cohasset after police said a 2-year-old boy died from injuries suffered at a local auto body shop on Thursday.State and local police, as well as personnel from the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office could be seen on South Main Street as of around 3:30 p.m., with a number of police cruisers spotted and caution tape in place. According to Cohasset Chief of Police William Quigley, it was around 12:40 p.m. when a man rushed from Hajj Auto Service to the nearby police station while carrying his injured grandson, seeking help.Quigley said the child was soon taken to South Shore Hospital where he was pronounced dead.Back at the police station, a minivan was later seen cordoned off in the parking lot.“At this point, there doesn’t appear to be anything nefarious,” Cohasset Chief of Police William Quigley told reporters, describing the situation as a tragedy while asking locals to keep the family...
