Woman assaulted, robbed while waiting for rideshare vehicle in Berkeley: police

(KRON) -- The Berkeley Police Department is investigating an incident in which the victim was allegedly robbed and stomped on by a pair of teenage girls in Berkeley, according to the Berkeley Police Department. There have been no arrests in the case. Police say the victim was waiting for a rideshare vehicle at the corner of Sacramento Street and Derby Street when the attack happened at about 5:15 p.m. Police told KRON4 that the attack was sudden, without warning. The victim had several injuries, including an eye swollen shut and lacerations to her face and body. Man who police say stabbed woman in neck arrested by Fairfield PD

(KRON) -- Police in Fairfield have arrested a man accused of stabbing a woman in the neck, the Fairfield Police Department said Wednesday. The incident occurred on Monday at around 3:05 p.m. in the 1600 block of Travion Court, according to Fairfield PD.Officers responded to reports of a stabbing and arriving at the scene, found a woman suffering from a serious stab wound to the neck. The Investigations Unit responded to the scene and took over the investigation.Photo: Fairfield PDA suspect in the incident was identified as 33-year-old Timothy Fisher. He was last seen walking north on Union Avenue, shortly after the attack.
